Having spent most of her life painting murals for clients all over the world, Janet now focuses on her own paintings specifically depicting the lovely surroundings in Cornwall \u2013 rivers, the sea, animals and nature. paintings can be viewed at various venues in Cornwall that are arguably some of the most impressive in Cornwall.<\/p>\n

Weighing Mullet ~ Jane Darke
Position in Old Barn: Dining Area<\/h2>\n

Jane Darke lives on the North Coast of Cornwall. This is the subject of her work as a painter, filmmaker & writer. She has a close connection to the place, particularly the littoral zone, between high and low tide. Jane was married to the playwright Nick Darke until his death in 2005. He grew up on this stretch of coast and taught her everything he had learned while they fished for lobsters and mackerel from their small boat and explored the rocky shoreline.<\/p>\n

Old Barn Tregonetha being some 250 years old is not obviously accessible to all, however, we have made a main ground floor access which is level and wide enough for wheelchair access. Internally on the ground floor we have wide bi-fold doors, one King double 5ft (Hypnos) and one single 3ft ground floor bedrooms and an accessible ground floor bathroom between the bedrooms. There is a small step up into the kitchen but this is hi-lighted with led strip lights and the stairs to the first floor are also lit with LED\u2019s.<\/p>\n

There is also level access to the south facing gardens which are also all level including the paved garden dining and BBQ area. The garden can also be lit in the evenings.<\/p>\n

We are family friendly with a Cot, Hi-Chair and Stair-gate<\/p>\n

Our policy is to be open and welcoming to all, matched with a high level of support and customer service.<\/p>\n

Jamie\u2019s photographic style is based on detail and accuracy gained from his background in illustration.<\/p>\n

His hope is that these skills, combined with an understanding of light and a natural eye, will lead to paintings with mood, atmosphere and realism and to portray scenes and events as they actually were.<\/p>\n
